The individual foundation of improvisation
Physical improvisation and acting training
A clear, physical way of working — for performers who want to train presence, attention and action.

Who this is for
Impro Supreme is for actors, performers and improvisers — anyone who wants to engage with improvisation in a serious, embodied way.
If you’re drawn to working with presence, clarity and physical truth, you’re in the right place.
The training is individual, methodical and grounded, and invites you to deepen your craft over time.
How the work begins
You begin in the body.
You work from where you are — not from ideas, habits or performance reflexes.
Improvisation asks for refined attention. You notice when you slip, and you come back.
From there, clarity appears, and the imagination has room to move.
It’s simple. Not always easy. But always real.
This is the craft.
What you can expect
Training that begins in the body
The work sharpens attention and leads to clear action by keeping coming back to what is actually happening.
You start from the body
You take time to feel weight, balance and rhythm — so you know where you are before you act.
You notice when you slip
You learn to catch the moment when you get carried away, and to return without forcing.
You act from presence
From there, choices appear naturally. You work from a clear physical presence, not from habit or performance reflexes.
What performers say
This method changes your whole outlook on improvisation and the creative process. Improv at its most exciting, fresh and deep level.

Impro Supreme has been most useful to me in terms of knowing new methods of work, acquiring new skills and mostly identifying my weak spots that need work and improvement.

About Impro Supreme
A clear physical way of working with improvisation
Founded in Paris in 2010 by performer and teacher Caspar Schjelbred, Impro Supreme offers a physical approach to improvisation and acting rooted in long-term practice and teaching.
Caspar teaches internationally and works with actors, performers and creators who want a grounded, perceptive and fully embodied stage presence.
The work is simple and demanding: begin in the body, stay attentive, and let the imagination move with clarity.
