A clear, physical way to train improvisation

Individual physical–imaginative training for performers who want to build a solid foundation on their own.

For actors, improvisers and performers ready to develop clarity, presence and creative freedom through structured solo practice.

Why this works online

At first glance, this might seem like an unlikely format for this kind of work.

Impro Supreme is rooted in individual practice: physical clarity, attentive perception and the connection between body and imagination. These principles translate exceptionally well to video guidance, because the real training happens in your body — in your own space, at your own rhythm.

This platform offers a structured way to train improvisation on your own — not through concepts, but through clear physical–imaginative exercises you can revisit as your work develops.

What this training is

Impro Supreme online training is a structured way to build your individual foundation as a performer. It adapts the core of the method — physical clarity, creative intelligence and perceptual awareness — into a format you can train on your own, with clear guidance and repeatable practice.

The approach is the same one I teach in person, shaped by more than twenty years of performing, researching and teaching. The instruction comes through video, but the work itself is physical, attentive and fully embodied.

This is not an online “class” or a collection of ideas. It is a practical, physical–imaginative method you train over time — building the clarity, presence and creative freedom that no troupe, partner or scene format can give you on its own.

What the programme will offer

The online programme will bring the Impro Supreme method into a clear, structured format you can train at your own pace. The focus is practical: physical–imaginative work presented simply, with enough space for repetition, precision and genuine discovery. You’ll also have the option to train alongside others through a dedicated WhatsApp group and occasional live sessions, so you can stay supported as your work develops.

The focus is not on concepts, but on training the foundations that make your work clearer, freer and more expressive.

It will offer:

  • A clear, progressive method you can practise alone
  • Physical–imaginative exercises demonstrated on video
  • Practical tools to build creative confidence and artistic autonomy
  • A coherent framework you can return to again and again

Who it’s for

This training is for performers who want to develop a deeper, more grounded craft — whether they come from acting, improvisation, dance or movement work. What matters is the desire to train seriously: to build an individual foundation that supports clear choices, expressive presence and a creative imagination that responds to reality.

You don’t need to be an improviser to benefit from this work, but you do need an interest in improvising as a way of creating — not as quick invention, but as attentive, embodied composition. And you don’t need to be a “physical” performer either; the method will show you how clarity in the body reveals clarity in your acting, storytelling and emotional life on stage.

If you want to understand what you’re doing as you’re doing it, to work with your body and imagination together, and to develop a practice you can grow for years, this training is designed for you.

Join the Impro Supreme Letter

If this work speaks to you, you can join the Impro Supreme Letter — written for serious improvisers and performers who want to deepen their practice.

It’s not a newsletter of announcements or promotions. The only “news” you’ll receive are the thoughts, reflections and insights that shape this method as it develops.

1:1 mentoring after the training

Individual mentoring is available to students who complete the online programme. This ensures we share the same foundation and vocabulary, so the work can go deeper with clarity and precision. If, after building your individual practice, you want focused guidance on refining your presence or technique, you’ll have the option to request 1:1 sessions.

Where the work begins

Everything changed when I began training on my own. That was the moment the work became clear — and I realised I could build myself as an artist.
